Specializing in mermaid sculptures, Georgia Mason has been creating art in her Norfolk, Virginia studio for over 25 years. From her clay figurines to her ten foot ladies, Georgia’s works have been sought after by both private and corporate collectors across the U.S. and Europe. She has created mermaid figurines for such celebrities as Oscar nominated singer/song writer Carol Connors and Kelly Ripa of Live with Kelly. Her sculptures have also benefited Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Susan G. Komen for the Cure Tidewater, PetsMart Los Angeles, and Ronald McDonald House. Georgia was commissioned by the Norfolk Airport Authority to create a Pocahontas mermaid for the 400 year anniversary of Jamestown as a gift to the people of Kent, England. The sculpture is on display at Westenhanger Castle along with a replica of the ship Discovery.
